george lynch and peavey are no more

Re: george lynch and peavey are no more

I don't think Marshall would be up for that kinda stuff. If you're referring to Framus as a "peon or cheezball" company then I'm sure you've never played one let alone heard one, for Framus is currently considered "hot" in all genres. They've managed to make more versatile heads than ENGL and unlike 85% of the "modern" voiced amps they actually make amps that will satisfy the most picky lead player to the sloppiest Nu-Metal slammer. It doesn't suprise me at all they're gaining popular endorsees and if mr Scary will be able to work it out with them I'm sure it'll open a whole other world for them

Re: george lynch and peavey are no more

It just seems like Framus will never get big over here in America like Marshall and peavey are. It seems to me like it is going to be very hard for someone here to get one of the new framus lynch models. But if he had stuck with peavey it would have been really easy to get one.

I think it's time for Marshall to revive themselves and step up to the plate. They did it for Slash and Zakk, but maybe it's time for them to come up with something half as good as a Bogner and stamp Lynch's name on it. Why mess with these peon companies, or cheezball companys? He's already shown that he's sifted through a bunch of copycat amps and still arrived at Superlead reissues, so he really should hook up with a big name like Marshall and come out with Marshall's most smokin amp to date.
That's what I think, anyway.

I voiced a similar opinion in my, "Marshall's Next Step" thread a while back. Marshall need to do something fast cuz their rep is sinking faster than a rowboat with Rosie O'Donnell and a leaky bottom.

Re: george lynch and peavey are no more

I see this thread and think back to when George was laying down tracks with Randalls and Marshalls, and I have to laugh. The dude is a phenomenal guitar player, and he'll sound like G Lynch whether he's playing out of a $50,000 one of a kind or one of those Zinky cigarette pack amps. I bet no matter what there will always be a Marshall close by.

Re: george lynch and peavey are no more

Maybe all these bloody multibulti extremely "versatile" amps are just not right!!!!!
Well never had one I loved as much as my single channel ones, they will never be able to replicate 4 amps in one, except for building four amps in one amp, meaning that they shall not share the same powersupply, nor any circuitry for that matter....that thing would end up big and heavy as hell.
