I spent a lot of time and energy with 24 fret Jacksons-over ten years worth. One day I recently woke up to find that the ergonomics of the 24 fret Jackson guitar Dinky body guitar do not work for me at all! Is the action super low?...Yes!... BUT... For the same reason that I do not play Explorer guitars, I do not like the Jackson anymore; Terrible player ergonomics. You simply cannot get super serious playing those instruments.
I will not own any Explorer( love V's), and I now have but two Jackson 24 fret guitars simply cause the action is amazingly LOW on one, and on the other the tone is paramount..
Eddie Van Halan and Yngvay had it nailed..and I am now a Charvel and /or regular Fender Style Superstrat guy.
These original VH1 Fender style guitars
oer regular Strats styles have always offered and will always offer the best playing ergonomics of all time.
