Well, to be fair, the majority of 80s Kramers are not USA either. I'd think they'd have a hard time selling modern USA at over $2k which is about what they would cost.

Indonesia ...same as the Baretta Specials.
The Pacer and the Striker are MiC.
The Striker had quality/build issues (high E too close to the edge due to the neck angle being slightly "off" in the pocket. A relatively easy fix except the neck screws were of shitty quality and stripped/would'nt hold after the angle was corrected. So I need new screws for the neck joint). The other two (Baretta & Pacer) were both great out of the box..killer finishes, awesome frets and play like butter..

Not going to lie some of my best and most played guitar's are dirt cheap & the Kramer's are some of the best of those. They are great feeling & playing guitars. Period.
I personally don't care a hoot about country of origin (and the ridiculous "heirachy" that exists USA -> Japan -> Korea ->Indonesia -> China) ...lulz wtf is that? It's fucking hilarious!!
How about picking up a guitar and * gasp* actually playing it :lmao
as these day's the whole heirachy thing, it's just a bunch of snake oil/BS & an excuse to mark up prices accordingly cuz so many guitar players out there are'nt the brightest sparks and will swallow any rubbish you feed them & nothing beats playing follow the leader when your a mindless moron incapable of having a thought or opinion that's actually your own... :lmao:
CNC machines don't care where they're situated. They use the EXACT same hardware everywhere & stuff like plek machines etc for the fretwork....

The origins of this were actually in my looper thread. I bought a new 'Nux Loop Core Stereo' pedal and was asked why I picked it over a Boss RC-5. The simple answer is "cuz it's a better looper" and that's really all there is to it. And even before you posted in here there were arguments (from people who have no doubt never seen or played one) that the "asian" Baretta Specials were cheap POS's ....Sometimes all the hilarious BS out there that's taken as "fact" just gets to me...
Yeah, I doubt there is enough of a Kramer audience to spend that much on new ones, especially since currently Kramer doesn't have any huge endorsers.

One must remember that companies like Gibson & Fender were "reduced to" making their own superstrats to stay afloat/relevant in the 80's when no one wanted their flagship axes...
