GFS Modboards??

Anyone ever try those Guitarfetish modboards?? I did a search here and couldnt find anything..

Im interested in the Optical Analog one, says it has increased sustain.. Wonder if its good enough to compete with a Fernandes Sustainer?? Cause Im looking at both options..

Anyone have any experiance, or can direct me to where I can find reviews on them?

Compressors aren't really in the same league as the sustainer. Compressor's and Limiter's are pretty subtle devices they help even out a persons playing. While the sustainer is a electro-mechanical device that sits underneath a harmonic node near the neck and actually agitates the string. I like a little bit of limiting and compression especially with an amp with good sensitivity and harmonic content. Compression can also be useful if you have a really loud amp and your looking for a smoother sound without as much volume.
