Gibson 335 follow-up

Re: Gibson 335 follow-up

That is one sweet axe Tatt... I'm no fan of white guitars but that one looks stunning to me... Great choice! Enjoy!

Re: Gibson 335 follow-up

Its the color, you cannot get Jet White, or any other bright white on any PRS. I even inquired about special ordering a McCarty or CU22 in white and PRS said no. Not unless going private stock, and I don't have $10,000 laying around for bright white. I even though of looking for a used one on ebay I could repaint, but in the end, it would cost a lot more. I gopt a very good price (less than a new CU22)

Re: Gibson 335 follow-up

really pretty guitar! -I saw Dave with Janes a couple of years ago, and he was rocking two or three of those. To be honest, I thought his sound was a bit muddy, which was probably a combination of too much JCM900 gain and delay, rather than the guitar. I far preferred his sound when I saw him with the RHCP.

I totally agree with Scott about PRS. Never played a dog. Utterly consistent. My Cu22 is rock solid, comfortable and sings.

Glad you chose to get a PRS over a Gibson.. sounds like those guys are being ****s lately....

I wish they sold a Dave Navarro signature wife, so I could use it for a few days, then return it. LOL
