Gibson 500T FS

I have a 1997 Gibson 500T. It is single conductor and out of a 1997 SG-X. The leads are long so they'll go in any guitar. The bobbin is a little beat up just from minor wear and tear, there is some rust on the base plate and a little on the screws. Sounds great, articulate and tight.

$40 shipped in the CONUS. (Or I will trade for a Jazz neck or bridge pickup)

All SG-x/SG-1 guitars came with a four conductor humbucker, wired to a coil tap.

Yeah, The wire was pulled off the bobbin at one point and I had a professional put new wire on it. I just said single conductor is fine because i don't coil tap or nothing. Sorry forgot to mention that!

I checked and I was right sort of, you had a modified 500T with an Alnico II in it instead of the double thick ceramic for sale a few months ago. Is this that same pickup?

The reason why I switched the A2 out is because I bought my pro junior. The pro junior only has volume and tone ocntrols on it. The 500T with the A2 was an amazing sounding pickup if you hd some way to turn the bass up. There was very little bass with the set up oif the A2 and mini ceramics but turning the bass way up on the amp, the pickup sounded unbelievable. Easily one of the best pickups I have ever heard.

Weird I always thought Kate Hudson had more than an A or B cup like your pic in your avatar shows. Hell, she looked bigger in that movie a while back with Matthew McConnehey
