Gibson/Epi 58 neck profile

If Im thinking correctly, the 58 profile is kinda fat right?? I want a V and really like the Brent Hinds Epi, but I dont like fat necks.. So, prolly rules that one out...

I heard the Hinds has a fat neck, but I don't find either my Korina Explorer or my Thunderhorse to have crazy thick necks, compared to my LTD EC.

I am pretty sure the 58 is pretty big...I wouldn't like it, either.

It's been a few years since I've played an Epi '58 Flying V, but the neck on the last one I played was completely different from Gibson's '58 profile. The Gibson '58 profile is huge, while the Epi one is thicker than the neck on my Explorer or SG Standard, but no where near as big as the neck on my 335 Fatneck.

My epi korina explorer's neck is big, but it works, and i have fairly small hands

Hmmm.. have to wait for some reports on that particular guit then.. I like the looks and features, but dont like fat necks.. Guess it will keep me from going further into debt...haha

You can always slap it to a belt sander and make it thinner.
