chill out dude its just his opinion. There is more of a difference than just the pickups. i dont know what youve been getting but the wood is like 9 ply plywood\plastic. gibson is plain mahogany. epi tuners suck, they dont keap in tune. gibson grovers do. gibson wiring is far more superior. epiphone necks have a glued on headstock. gibsons dont. why dont you do some of you "hard work" and buy a gibson and tell me that they are the same.chenchio said:But I hate Epiphone. Gibson good, Epi bad.
??????????????????its the same **** with diferent pickups ******* , i know all the import bull**** and american made but all is bull**** same **** also why would you hate epi and love gibson , ??,they look exactly the same just because one its affordable ???you hate it because its affordable you must be rich kid , but for all the people that work to get our stuff its the same thing just get a epi g400 or 310 , and get some sd and start rockin

im just telling my experience. hes kinda making it sound like all epiphones are better than all gibsons. i wish i could get one of the "rare" ones.Davey said:actually, in the 7 years i had my epi, the tuners still hold their tune. only the G tuner is a lil bit borked. my wood is not ply nor is it plastic. it aint mahagony, it's alder. there are some jewels among epis that'll outplay a gibson, but thats it though.. pretty rare
