Re: Gibson Les Paul Jr. anyone played one?
Billy's Jr.s are old for sure (look close at the cover of this months GW).
Wattage...Killer pic bro, I really love that the other guy has the total 80's Hammer going on, yet you keep it real, slab of mahogany, and a P-90...that's all you really need!
strat_master...some people are missing a major part of your question. Real 50's and 60's Jr's will bring quite a bit of cash...$2000-$4000 is not uncommon, them you get into double cuts, specials, etc...and custom shop Jr, are not much better if at all! Keep this in mind, the Gibson Les Paul Faded Double Cutaway, is real slose to a double cutaway special (A Special is a 2 pickup Jr, and the double cutaway is self explanitory) and runs less that $700.00 new...it is a killer P-90 axe. Also, the new Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker, is very much a LP Jr...it just has a Melody Maker Headstock, these go for $450.00 new. These are 2 killer guitars, and the fact that they are so cheep is even better!!!
