When I look at it, it just looks like a mistake.

I can't beleive Gibson decided to put this GOW into production. There were other guitars that were way better that I would have liked to see. Like that LP "unburst" or that explorer with the trem or those '61 SG's in different colors... I can't beleive the guys at Gibson said, "lets put the fugly backwards one into production!"...

It just goes to show that all the "brains" at Gibson look at is sales figures. They looked at how many of those reverse V's sold without realizing it was because people were thinking "no way in hell is Gibson ever doing another run of these - I better snatch this up because it'll be a collectable". Now that it's a regular production run nobody is going to want to touch the thing and Gibson execs just won't get why they aren't selling. It's pretty sad really.
