I had one, they are pretty nice except for the single volume control. I sold it to a local drinking establishment and now it hangs above my table.

It was part of the Guitar of the Week program. I feel like those that bought them did so for the collectibility factor, but they sold out so quickly Gibson did another run. So it’s actually the most available of the GOTW guitars.

As ugly as it is, the shape actually makes more sense than the familiar design.
I wouldn't say anyone was off their meds regarding this one, but I would regarding the familiar "V" style. That's a totally ridiculous guitar to play unless you cock it at about a 45 degree angle, neck high.

It works fairly well in the classical playing position. That's really the best way to play it.

I have two of the GOTW Les Pauls....the Classic Antique Fireburst and the Tom Morgan Artist. Light, but they rock.
