I upgrade my 2015 SG Std, this guitar is fantastic, very resonant, it sounds killer.
I love this finish.

•KLUSON Revolution tuners (GForce removed)

•Les Paul Historic trussrod cover

•GraphTech TUSQXL nut

•Creamtone Les Paul tenon cover

•5 ply 60° bevel Creamtone pickguard

•Wizz M-69 humbucker rings

•Historic Switchcraft tip, heavy knurled Switchcraft nut

•Gibson ABR-1 Bridge, with black adapters

•Vintage repro knobs (smooth reflector tops)

Great looking guitar. If I had one, I'd make the controls master vol, master tone, master spin o split, blender.

Details of the Nashville/ABR-1 bridge conversion with black brushings, the bridge is a genuine Gibson ABR-1.

The assembly is very discreet, very clean.

The KLUSON Revolution tuners are incredible, light weight (important for an SG), high ratio (1:19), new technology and nice vintage design, perfect. The locking version is not necessary imho.

Absolutely gorgeous guitar. And the batwing pickguard really puts it over the top. Congrats. Play the hell out of that!

That finish is called "trans ebony"? Not what I'd expect from the name. Looks more like "walnut". In any case...I LOVE it.

And that guard is extreme sexy!

Beautiful guitar! I've often wanted an SG. :)

Both because of looks, and tone. (I'd use mine to play heavy metal!)

I think i'll look into those kluson tuning machines. very tasteful upgrades there.

Also, that color doesn't look like a trans ebony to me but a dark walnut.

Makes me jones'n for my next sg build..

I thought the Kluson Revolutions were discontinued? Still can haz?

What is on the headstock? Is that that “modern” Les Paul sig or some other emblem?

Yes, it' s Les Paul signature on the headstock, that' s why nobody wanted to buy one and that' s why the price was very cool.

The 2015 SG Std is made like a '61 RI, same body design and same body/neck joint. Inlays are real MOP, not plastic.
