gibson + tom delonge= a confused society

Re: gibson + tom delonge= a confused society

I like it in a cool bowling shoes kind of way. It is kind of funky but I haven't gotten my hands on one yet. I would think they would have at least put it near the lines of a Studio 333 but what do i know.

My guess is that once it is on the market and the guys who buy every new Gibson out there get them you'll see an Epi version.

Hmmm I thought psycho graphics were the really chessy vinyl tribal things kids put on their ricers?

Just get the faded brown 333 for half the price and twice the pickups.

that delonge sig. just seems like a mistake to me. First off, hollowbodies are known for their fat jazz tone, and there's not even a neck pickup.

I pray Gibson goes out of business and is purchased by someone who cares about making decent products. At least Fender is making a strong effort in the mid to upper range of guitars, the quality and feel is noticeable.

there's also the fact that it's STUFFED WITH FOAM.

whatever.

I WOULD much rather have the faded brown 333, i like it alot.

I'll do the same thing with the Blink Gibson as I will with the Blink CD's.

NOT BUY THEM!!!! The only difference is I wouldn't use the Gibson as a frisbee.

quit dissing it till youve actually played it.. eh?
i wasnt dissing the guitar, i just feel that he doesnt deserve to sponser the name gibson, i actually kinda like the guitar.

Re: gibson + tom delonge= a confused society

i feel that gibson is back it terms of quality. a bit overpriced but, at least on the 10-15 guitars ive played, there has never been an issue with quality in my eyes.

Re: gibson + tom delonge= a confused society

I'd party for a week if gibbo went outta business

same with marshall but, that's for a different thread

Re: gibson + tom delonge= a confused society

I think tom delonge has no place in the gibson family. He compares NONE what-so-ever to say BB King, Tony Iommi or Angus Young. I'm outraged Gibson comitted such an attrocity.
