want to trade? this is a monster sounding pickup. 4 conductor 13.7k DCR it has alnico2 AND ceramic magnets. solid chrome. retails for $180. would trade for a chrome covered neck position pearly gates or 59.

Are you looking solely for covered neck pups? I have a Slash neck but it's open coil double black. It's also been converted to 4con wire. Excellent condition, no logo, original box. As it has been modded, I'd be willing to put a little cash with it. Thx!

there is no specification on to how its build, it is referred to as "proprietary" on the Gibson site...also the back of the pup is all epoxied like an emg so you cant peek. it definitely has serious crunch and great articulation, I simply have acquired quite a few pickups and have decided to change the look of the guitar it was in, which happens to be the pup in my profile pic

yes sir....I have a few uncovered neck pups laying around, but the guitar I am putting it in is a sunburst eclipse and I love the jimmy page uncovered bridge, covered neck thing...

HI there, I have these pickups but since they are covered I do not know how to install them. Is there a specific orientation for bridge and neck position (cable up or down)?

I think they're having twin blades under the covers and it doesn't matter which direction they go. Killer pups, enjoy!
