That's a perrty guitar.

But in all honesty, I prefer full size rounded cutaways!

Dave's Guitar in LaCrosse WI had both a 1958 and a 1959 ES-5 Switchmaster. I spent an entire afternoon swapping between those guitars... *sigh*

I Never really liked the short scale of a Birdland. Those little tiny necks are really hard to play, and the sharp cutaway doesen't do it for me. I prefer a chunky neck in an Archtop. I like the 25½" scale and I like the D'Angelico style cutaway, soft and smooth.
