Give me some cool, catchy, recognizable. . .

"Darkness", from the "Ghost In the Machine" album. It will take you about two minutes to be playing note for note, right along with Sting.

I love Sting as a bassist. His playing seems to be almost completely overshadowed by his vocal skills.

"The Streetbeater" by Quincy Jones (used as theme for Sanford and Son)
"Barney Miller theme"
"Owner Of A Lonely Heart" by Yes
"Silly Love Songs" by Paul McCartney (more intermediate maybe)
"New Year's Day" by U2; most anything in the U2 catalog has great bass grooves that aren't too hard to work out
"Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith
"Nowhere Man" by The Beatles
"Penny Lane" by The Beatles
"Sun King" by The Beatles
"Best Of My Love" by The Emotions (personally don't like the song, but really cool bass groove that's fun to play)
"Driven To Tears" by The Police
