That looks great! I'm really surprised that the "leaving it outside in the cold" thing worked, but it sure saved you some trouble. I also imagine you won't have to worry about it falling out.

hehehe it's good knowing a little physics!

I use the same trick to fit stubborn control plates back into tight routes. I leave the control plate in the freezer for a while and then put it back in the route when it's good and cold. it shrinks a little bit, not very much, but juuuuuuuuust enough to fit inside the route.

I'd never tried that with a wooden part though, so this was a bit of a shot in the dark, but it worked!

Thanks dudes! I had lots of fun doing this, and i'm so glad that my setup looks like one cohesive rig instead of a box with a head on top.
