I just looked through the site more thorougly. I like that GS 1000! I'm sure it's a piece of junk but it's got that 60's retro thing going on (a la Eastwood and that Italian company that I can't think of...)- It's about as ugly as a guitar can get. I'd easily pay 100 bucks for it if it turned up in a pawn shop - it'd be a good thing to throw around on stage.

I have played the GS 1000 as I said earlier. Quite heavy and although it has tummy and forearm contour it still hurt my arm and ribs.. It has a cool pickup selection though...Series, Parallel, and add the single coil anywhere in between those selections. They look nice with the cream bobbins.

But I dont wanna be caught dead playing one.
