Are string through designs supposed to be better than just a stop tailpiece? I've always wondered.
I think the finish on that guitar is great, I wanted a Les Paul like that for a while, fell out of love with the idea when I tried the ones available locally and didn't gel with them.

The JB that's in the Michael Kelly now came out of my LTD EC400VF. It has the stop tailpiece. I can't tell much difference myself. They sound pretty much the same. And that is through the same pedals & amp with the same settings. Very little difference in this case.

I cant see the pic here at work. Michael Kellys are great tho! I have a patriot Custom that is stellar. Its all the guitar I could ever need. Its unreal for what I paid for it.

Wow, I just love how white guitars age! I would kill for that LP. I myself am looking at the LTD EC1000T/CTM in white, hopefully it will age as nicely as that over time
