I have a Godin Redline HB and just read this on Wikipedia: "Redline - a double cutaway body with one active EMG pickup and no tone controls. Say which??

Lol they did make that config as well. Some guy was selling one in the trading Post when I first logged in here.

Re: Godin Redline - careful what you read

there are a few different versions of the redline.

The original version, the Redline 1, had a single EMG and volume.

They also released the Redline 2, with two EMGs, a volume, tone, and a selector.

Then they got rid of the single-EMG version, and added a dual EMG + Floyd Rose version (Redline 3), and a pointy version with a TOM/STP (Redline Nemesis), and the dual-passive version (Redline HB).

Bottom line is - who goes to wikipedia for guitar research?!?!

Well, since you asked, I didn't go there to research the guitar(s), I went there to get their take on the correct pronunciation of the word, Godin. This they did not address. However, other websites do and the consensus is that the correct pronunciation is: Go-day.

Lol. It's french . . . and pronounced Go-dan. Also, the wiki article looks fine to me.

should've just asked here :)

The correct pronunciation is sorta halfway between Go-day and Go-dan. the n is sorta half-silent. More correct to phonetically spell it as Go-dein

Yea, its goe-deh(n). Mr. Godin shows up to NAMMs and stuff and he says it himself, so I lean towards his pronunciation. Well, as much as I can with this thick tongue. More suited to Italian than french.
