Going to buy some guitars on Denmark St in London

I've got an extra day in London next month, to do nothing but guitar shop at all the dozen famous guitar spots in the West End/Denmark St.

Every time I go, I'm overwhelmed by vintage guitar brands never imported to the US.

This time I'm going to buy a few and bring them home.

So, I need some lesser known 50s-80s Guitar brands to keep an eye out for and try out.

The more Goudie and switch happy the better.

Suggestions?

-Also will be in Ireland, Netherlands, France, Germany etc -so take advice there too.

I was in Denmark street a few weeks ago. Luckily I initially missed that street and ended up a bit further on Charing Cross Street in front of a shop called MACARIS.
This is the only place in the world that retails genuive Sola Sound re-issue (The owner is the son of the Sola Sound founder).

Guess what ? I came home with a 18v Colorsound Powerboost. I could not believe it !
(a limited run made by Stu Castledine)

I was just there a few months back. Easy to get lost in all those stores. Have fun!

Denmark Street is for old farts. I'd rather be in Ishibashi in Tokyo's Shinjuku immersed in Fenders, Ibanzes, FGNs, ESPs made for Japan market only.

Burns / Tri-sonic guitars. Watkins or Selmer amps if you can find em.

Demark street is a small street and may have less shops than the Guitaa-gai near Ochanomizu station in Tokyo or even Rue Victor Massé near Pigalle station in Paris, but it is cool : I found the shop assistants quite friendly at Denmark street.

In one shop at the corner they let me try a georgous brown 1966 Trini-Lopez although I made it clear I did not even think buying it. This is just because they share the same love of guitars. Seeing the price tag, I am shure it will still be there when you go...

In another shop I only ask about the sound of the new Fender Pro full-rosewood neck (a Strat with a a dark neck and a light pink body). and the guy answer "Just try it".

Denmark St. has amazing stuff -especially non US import Euro and Asian vintage gear, if that's not your thing fine. -but I'm asking for suggestions on Denmark St. - not Tokyo -although, I'll be there in Winter, at which point, glad to hear what hockey stick guitar brands I should consider.

Man, I need to get there. I haven't been in that part of the world in about 12 years, and this is motivation.
