Good amp for active pickups?

Mephis

Well, it seams that my peavey 258 trans tube isnt really cutting it, just not enough juice and to get it to sound good you have to turn it way too damn loud. I never have much money and i was wanting to know whats a good option, i played on a roland cube 60 and loved it better then some of the stacks, gave a perfect black sabbth sound. Any suggestions? Please include were you found it and price.

My V-Twin loves the EMG's in my Hamer, so I'm guessing that some kind of Boogie would do it for you.

Im in luck man, i should delete thies, they are willing to take back my peavey and like $150 something and get a roland cube 60.

Take your guitar and try it out at the store. Get the best sounding amp you can afford. :burnout:
