If you can find "rockin' the blues" by Keith Wyatt, buy it immediately. One of the best instructional videos ever made. Wyatt was a GIT instructor when he made this, and his experience teaching really shows through.
It covers three common rhythm styles, turnarounds, starts and endings, the BB and Albert King styles, and lots of soloing ideas. It's aimed at a rock player who may know a little about pentatonic soloing, but wants to get an authentic blues feel in his playing.
Really great stuff. Can't recommend it highly enough.
