good clean middle

i have a basswood rg with a DD brigde and i think i will put a '59 in the neck and wonder what to put in the middle.

i play metal/fast punk but i would only play clean stuff wtih the middle one.
any suggestions?

I have a '59 in the neck of my strat and a dimarzio in the bridge. I too wanted a clean only middle pup so I chose the cool rails....So far I find it great for a clean tone.............But that is just me...........
