Good Mesa Buy?

F-50 excellent condition at GC with cover and footswitch, for $750 you think it is too good to be true? I like the sound I just worry there is some catch that there something wrong with it, what do you think?

That's definitely a good price - play it extensively and make sure there's nothing wrong with it in the store.

That said, GC does blow out Mesa stuff for really cheap sometimes, or it's probably used.

Test it out, but that is a very good price for the F-50. I have an F-30 that I found for $610 a while back and love it. Very cool, straight forward amp (love the cleans)

How good is the Distortion channel and Contour switch on that bad boy? I've been looking at the F30/F50's as well.

Its got a a dark crunch, but the contour is a boost for it. It brightens the distortion in my opinion. Its used but it looks clean and never used. I think im gonna have to just buy it and forget about christmas shopping!

F-50's on Ebay are going for $750-1000. Sounds like a good buy to me.

The Contour switch should be renamed the "Metal" switch - kicks it right into something between a Mark IV and Recto.
