It has HSS pup config in it right now, but I want to slap some duncans in, I know I want rails in the neck and middle possitionm Although im not sure of the Humbucker to use for bridge. I want the guitar to sound fairly bright, Something with an 80s Metal persona. I was thinking JB for bridge, but theres alot of other pups I dont know much about, like the Invader, Distortion, Dimebucker, Custom Custom, etc etc.

Any input?

The Screamin Demon is what you need!!!! Sharp attacking tone that cuts right through with a tight bottomend crunch! Also amazing voicing for leads as well. One of the most versatile pickups around. The JB is great but i think the Demon is better for metal because it has a more slicing attacking tone whereas the JB has a more rounded sound. But you cant go wrong with any Duncan!!!

id go for a distortion for 80s metal. the jb always kicks too. so you cant go wrong with either. The invader is a darker sounding pickup but depending on the guitar and amp can work well for your situation. just try the distortion and if you dont like it within 30 days ( or something close to that) you can return it and try out a jb. good luck
