Yes it is, but 'surf' demands it.I have the RV5 and the DD2 delay. Generally I use just one or the other, it's too easy to go overboard..................

Grail - Simple, earthy, organic, Hall, Room, and the funky love/hate Flerb
Zilla - Lot's of great verb models. Great sounding with lots of options
TC - LAtest high tech verb, with lots of love by the early adopters
Hardwire is also cool, in a Zilla kind of way
Boss RV-3, for Delay + Verb fans, a classic available on the bay
Check out the Nova Reverb...From our friends at Lexicon I believe....

I think best bet is to just get the big fender tank, personally I love to have a little reverb on at all times. But I really love the Eventide space pedal too omg amazing everytime I play it get stuck in a trance for hours. Hall of fame is also good i love TC electronics pedals.

To elaborate on my post.. Honestly, the Strymon BSR was way too hi-fi for me.. It works for some, but it wasn't what I wanted. Additionally, the shimmer was too present and inadjustable. The Space was just too much, and while I dug the Blackhole algorithm, it wasn't worth it to keep it for that.. The Verbzilla was awesome for the price and I had it for a long time, but I think the HoF is even more awesome based on the reviews (the consensus is pretty clear on that one). However, the Neunaber Wet can be really warm and lush, with a reverb trail that really makes me drool like nobody's business. Add to that, the software prog is really cool to use with it. Not to forget that you can have a favorite switch that'll change two of the parameters simultaneously. I will keep the Wet for a long time, I guess.

I've got gas for a Flint but can't get myself to spend that much. Great reverb sounds though.

I've used the Verbzilla since it came out and I Like it...Seems I'd like the TC Hall Of Fame even more though,but haven't made the plunge yet.

I traded my Holy Grail (with cash) for a power supply and have loaned out my Verbzilla. I preferred the spring reverb on the EHX and the hall reverb on the Verbzilla. The Neunaber will be next.

Well, if you do like to use tremolo sometimes, it's more $150 for a trem and $150 for an awesome reverb.. It's not that bad..
