Good vibratos?

probably one of my favorite effects. I'm wondering about a good, well priced vibrato with a depth and a rate control...

has to be true pitch vibrato...

Re: Good vibratos?

The BYOC clone of the old Boss VB-2 sounds amazing. You can obviously buy it in kit form or you can buy it pre-built. Also, the Behringer UV300 is a clone of it. I also like the EHX Wiggler a lot too, it dosn't get into the seasick wide vibrato, but it does the more subtle stuff (along with quasi leslie, Uni-VIbe and tremolo) beautifully.

I've got a Marshall Vibrato/Tremolo pedal that I never use any more. It does a decent tremolo and a decent vibrato . . . it's also got stereo outs. If you want it for about 40$, send me a PM.

Re: Good vibratos?

that UV300 is soundin good.....Maybe the BYOC clone for the real thing but it sounds like this is an exact replication, minus the buffer...

Re: Good vibratos?

Wow, when I first read the title, I thought it was asking about good...nevermind.

Re: Good vibratos?

I was actually gonna advise the 'Pleasure Vibe 3000' until I saw Fender Punk's post...the only experience i have with VIBRATO is built into Fender amps...

Re: Good vibratos?

The Boss VB-2 is more like a chorus with a pulse to me...I just don't care for them at all, never did...I also don't care for a chorus pedal turned up fast for a "fake leslie" sounds...it's not a fake leslie sound, it's a chorus pedal turned up too deep and too fast thats swirling out of tune and IMO it sounds terrible...

There are several trem pedals out there but not many vibe pedals...one of the best IMO is the Austone, it does both trem and vibe but it ain't cheep!

Re: Good vibratos?

Well, I've got a $25 Danelectro Chicken Salad and it does a pretty good Trower Bridge of Sighs type of thing. You can scoff but this particular Danelectro has alot of fans.
