Got a brand new Marshall!! (warning, BIG PICS!)

Yesterday my new Marshall 1936V 2x12 cabinet arrived so I could finally plug my new DSL50 head in and turn it up. I'm not great with reviews but basically it sounds awesome especially when cranked up! The clean channel is very nice for a Marshall, and for my overdrive I'm using the Lead 1 channel with a Spina modded SD-1 in front of the amp to give it a bit of a kick. I also have a MXR Distortion+ for a solo boost. Great amp perfect for hard rock and metal. Anyway here's some pics!

And here's the whole family - my US strat, squier strat, Edwards Les Paul and Epiphone Goth V bought from forum member JB_From_Hell and set up by Theodie (it's still doin great for me guys!)

That's a nice looking rig right there. I like those 2x12's. They're just the right size to keep a big sound yet easy to lug around.

I know this thread is dedicated to your Marshalls, but that white Strat looks awesome. A Strat with SD/PAF pickup combo is the 80s Maiden pickup combination.

Yeah man the Strat is awesome, sounds great through the Marshall. Pure Maiden tones!

I'll get clips up ASAP but it might be a while till I can get a decent mic, cause the cabinet just cleaned me out!!

DSL50s are my favorite modern Marshall - perfect balance of flexibility and simple raw tone. Best clean channel on a modern Marshall also. Good luck with it!

that is the Marshall rig i want..... Nice going.... GAS big time again.... :) I see the Marshall cab is a 1936 Vintage? What speakers are in that cab? I had never heard of that model... i've seen 1936's just not the Vintage version

Trust me mate you can't go wrong with this setup! The speakers in the cab are Celestion Vintage 30s.

Wow! I LOVE that white strat! Great amp as well of course, now all you need is a 1960 :)

I gigged for several years with a similar rig - JCM800 203 head and the 2-12 cab. Great rig!
