Got a chance to trade for a MIJ Jackson should I

Re: Got a chance to trade for a MIJ Jackson should I

Found the exact guitar model listed with specs and the MSRP and they said it had the 59 neck. It sounds more like it has the Jazz to me instead of a 59 though so you may be right here. Have not pulled it to take a look yet.
I'm REALLY digging the JB in the bridge on this particular guitar!
The JB can be a fickle pickup and when it's in the wrong guitar be really WRONG but when it's right they can also be pure magic and this one so far seems right!

There's a version of the guitar called a DK2M Pro that have dot markers, 5 way switching and JB/59 pups and there was just DK2M which is what mine is and what I believe yours is too going by the shark fin inlays and those had 3 way switching and JB/Jazz combination.

I have the pickups out of the guitar and can say for sure that they're Jazz neck as stock. Not arguing, just trying to give you info as another owner :)

It's an awesome looking guitar btw; makes mine look a bit bland by comparison! :D

FWIW, Japanese Jacksons were made at the Chushin factory in Nagano Prefecture which went bankrupt and closed a few years ago. You won't find new Japanese Jacksons. These will become collector's items.
Thanks Evan good tip bro on the history of these. I like the guitar but have so many right now was considering flipping it. That sealed the deal on keeping her ( as if I really needed an "excuse" LOL!).

You are dead on with the model and it does indeed have the 3 way. This Crimson Swirl finish was pretty rare as it was a $100 up-charge on this one and most did not want to pay the extra $$. The finish was what sealed the deal on the trade in the end and the fact it's a heck of a player!
I prefer the look however of the Rosewood board neck.

Not exclusively... A 90s RR3 i disassembled for shipping w/ neck off had FujiGen markings in neck pocket

I've never seen 1 in that finish before. They all seem to be the white 1s like mine that I see around.

I'd definitely pick another up if the price was right!
