Got a question for those who sell guitar parts on ebay

Im deciding wether to part out a couple guitars....or sell them whole. Need opinions....

I have a real nice Jackson PS4, looks like the bare neck will bring 140.....yet the whole guitar may only get 200 or less........

I also have a 70s or 80s ibanez Pro Line, that has the good ibanez floyd rose thats worth 150 and a sweet bound ebony board neck...Im guessing thats worth at least 100...

Ive never parted out guitars before and wonder if its lucrative.

Set your reserve where you want it and give them a shot as is...you'd be surprised what some stuff goes for on Ebay lately. :smack:

Yeah, Ive seen some crazy stuff, Im a regular seller, I just havent parted one out...lets see

easier to ship
more money?

I've found (Depending on the guitar) The parts are more vauleble.

I'm thinking about parting out my Axis. I'm just afraid I'll get stuck with just the body or just the neck. The matching headstock kind of narrows the potential buyers.
