After so long of my waiting.. If any of u remembered... I bought this cabinet 4 months ago... Received today.

No fault whatsoever from avatar, they were prompt with build and shipping time and I commend them. Delay was by shipping company...


Anyway, This sucker HOOKS! Sweetest tone and I recommend to everyone to get an avatar cab, Very high quality build and I'm very impressed.

Its a G212 Custom with a vintage 30 and g12h30.

I talked to Dave a bit when I ordered my Hellatone 30. He's a good guy .. I wondered how he ended up in Idaho building cabinets ... he's a refugee from LA

I'd definitely consider Avitar if I needed a cab ... almost a no brainer

I bought some Governors from them a while back, got them in about a week, saved big $$$. Avatar had them for $69 + shipping and Musicians Friend had them for $95 + shipping.

What do they charge to ship a beast that weighs 45#? Sounds like you'd get raped paying shipping charges for something that heavy...

$34 in shipping for the 2x12 and $49 in shipping for the 4x12. I don't think thats too bad.

I wonder if Dave will ever cave in and do the angled cabs with tolex like the straight cabs, with the same colors grill cloth you can get for the straight cabs. Or if not that at least give an option to get the metal grills on the tolex cabs. I talked to him years ago and the idea of having mismatched cabs strikes me as insane.

This sucker is one of the lightest cabinets I have ever picked up... All of my guitar playing associates agree.

Closed Back. As for the rest of my gear, theres an EXP wolfie, a Yamaha C-40 and a Fender 12string acoustic... I'm currently saving for my next guitar purchase...
One day when i have the time I'll get a real nice pic of ALL my gear and post it.

Has somebody accidentally bumped into your amp? Something seems to be wrong on it... Like it has no mids at all!!

Anyways, nice pics and nice that the new cab pleases you.
