Got my dream guitar after 8 damn years!

Around the time I joined this forum, 8 years ago, I had this dream guitar that I thought I was never going to get.

Earlier today while I was at the bank, my friend gave me a call, told me he found my dream guitar, sent me the detes. It was from a classified back in August. I gave the seller a call to see if it was still there.

As luck would have it, the seller was JUST about to leave for a long trip overseas tomorrow, and he'd not return until after New Years'. So I took a cab to his place, checked the guitar out and bought it immediately

Here it is:







It's even in the EXACT same color that I wanted back then, plus it has a Floyd Rose.

I'm actually in the middle of an ordered build from Rangka of a similar looking guitar. I sent pics to them and told them to try match this as a challenge.

I'll be sure to post when it's time for THAT one

This specific one is using the HC3+ and the SC1

So, spec-wise, a double slug JB and 2 stacked humbuckers that are made to vaguely sound like 60s strat pickups.

They're perfectly fine, but I might tinker in the future.

No kidding, I was JUST selling my last Floyd guitar because it wasn't getting enough play from me (less problem of the bridge and more of the guitar's feel)

No kidding. I was just thinking about either the Cruiser or Fast Track 1 in the Neck and Middle

And either a Norton or the Suhr Aldrich in the bridge

Also, what an awesome company.

I gave them a call near their closing time (I just got to my office. Thanks 14 hr timezone difference), asked them about their electronics so I can do pickup swaps without having to figure out the wiring of their push pull pots and miniswitch

They just asked me the exact pickups I'm changing to so they can draw a proper diagram for me.
