I got my Mahogany Jackson copy. I am putting in my JB from the ash guitar tonight or tomorrow. This one is a little heavier and mohogany. Even with the floyd it should be a little warmer with the jb I am fired up!

There is a tradition here that anyone who has got a new guitar must post pictures of their said acquisition or risk the wrath of fellow forum members - :kidding: :firing: :arms: :smack: :yeah:

I will do that soon once I get the jb in so I can escape the wrath! I am now trying to figure out what is what inside there. I have never messed with a 5 way switch. It really looks nice the floyd will also take a little time.

How did the stock pickups sound? Was the setup good or bad?

The stock pups sounds weaker than the JB and more high end, almost single coil-like. Now this is comparing to my JB in an Ash strat type guitar with trad. trem. I am hoping the JB will be a bit warmer and fuller than the stocks.
The set up was pretty good. I do have some fine tuning to do but that is expected. There are a few problems though. The tone pots has something wrong with it, it is scratchy and does not work the best. But the volume pot is great, and the switch is smooth. I wish the nut locks were not so tight. Other than that I am happy.

I hate to be the party pooooper...but im not a big fan of jay turser gear. I owned a jay turser strat copy once and hated it.....BUT if you like that axe all the more power to ya! Ansd with a JB it should be decent. ...so cheers!!!!!!!!

It does sound a bit fuller with the JB but I did not get to crank my amp yet. I will in a few hours. I have no complaints about this guitar yet.
