Just got 3 RCA 12AX7 tubes from an old radio... And these two.

Probably not worth a lot. What do you think?

The 5Y3 is a rectifier. It would benefit from testing before being installed into a valuable old amplifier.

Is that first tube a Y3.?
The 6F6 will want to see 6 Volts. That is a lot of extra amps if the PT is set up for a 5 Volt rectifier.
But yeah, either throw them on a tester, or maybe pull the tubes when you put those in.
Really no need to use tube diodes anymore.....especially if they are an unknown.
best

The Vintage Valve Museum website says that the 6F6GT is an output stage valve for - who would guessed this? - domestic radios.

Assuming they are in decent working condition, all of these elderly valves will be at their most valuable in the old radio where you first discovered them.

Everything is worth something to somebody. That is what Ebay is for.

if the 12ax7 and 5y3 test good then they are worth something. no idea about the 6f6

I wonder if my Picovalve would run that 6F6?

And then there's the 5Y3 label on the bottle itself...
