Thanks. That hardwood head is a Weber, made in the good ole USA.

And, they're taking my suggestion and from here on out their going to make all their small box marshal heads 10" in height instead of 9". Gives those tall KT66's more room to 'breathe'.

I was having doubts about the cream face and back plates, but it works.

I was having doubts about the cream face and back plates, but it works.

That added height deninitely helps with the heat, but still small enough so that it doesn't look like a toaster.

The only thing I'd change with mine is instead of 2 vents on top, I'd do one long vent.

I played the snot out of this amp yesterday. It's got this nice thick swirly thing going on. Late last night, I had to keep it turned down and was doing some finger picking Strat stuff. Low volume beautiful stuff.

there was a discussion on another forum about clips from amp companies. it was pretty much nailed down that if the guy playing wasn't an "A" player, then people got distracted and focused on the playing and not the tone. I'm not an A player.

Stratman is. He's supposed to be sending me a CD with some clips on it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

its funny cause i'd rather it be the other way around. I mostly dislike clips made by those so called "players" that are found on the internet(i say "most", alot of the stuff on the duncan forum tips n clips is cool). I'd rather just hear so true strummed chords and little rhythm bits to get the idea of an amp than some hot shot playing leads and wanking around.

Man I'm jonesing so bad it's like being a virgin again and having a stripper rub her hooters in my face. Gotta go practice so I can do this amp justice...

Making dinner tonight. Cooking up some perfectly seasoned steak, green beans with bacon chunks (real bacon chunks and not baco bits), and pinto beans. Should be a smelly but enjoyable night. Girlfriend is avoiding me like the plague. Can't stop jonesing for it. Too bad my schedule is likely to have me out of town this week. I won't be home to receive it if my boss has any say about it.

cool, looking forward to it. Sorry if anybody takes offense to what i said, i didnt mean to direct it to anybody. I was just simply saying that i'd rather hear the amp in a simple, natural way, such as just playing some chords and simple licks, as opposed to some big wanking session by some hot shot that makes the amp sound way different than it would typically sound for most people

It'll go out in tomorrow's fed ex. Ran it all night cranked. I boxed it up to withstand WWiii, but hopefully it'll survive Fed Ex as well. The styrofoam packing will likely make a bit of a mess when you open it.

Please take digital photos of the box before you open it and as you are opening it.

It *might* get there by Friday, Monday at the latest.
