This is what the ones I got in Dublin look like -except mine have ornate some Irish Celtic iconography on them

Those look like the Santos rosewood picks.I like em. They are warm sounding and not as clicky as iron wood or ebony.If you watch Amazon you can occasionally catch a deal. I recently got 4 zodiac black buffalo horn picks for 5 bucks!

I'd like to get my hands on some of the Rob Chapman signature Gravity picks. They look like they'd be a quality pick.

I use to play gravity for a while but then I switched to the Dunlop Jazz, Primetone and Flow stuff and haven’t really felt the need to change since

I recently bought a few Flow picks. Whatever the regular one are and also some of the jumbo sized. I think the Jumbo picks I bought are great picks but they are still just a little smaller than a standard 351 sized pick. And as such it’s a little uncomfortable for me. If they made a standard sized flow, I’d likely be all over those.

I use the Andy James Flows, the Slipknot Jim Root Jazz III XL, Primetone XL and the regular jazz iii XL

Sorry for late response. But I curious if others have tried these yet, and what the reviews are.

Yes 2.0, but they don’t seem thick to me. I think it’s the shape and the bevel around the edge. It’s not a sharp “V” bevel like the Gravity. The bevel is not tapered gradual like a Stubby or the Pettrucci. It’s more like a rounded radius from a router bit.

The tip is not too pointy like a Jazz XL (seems to cause too much drag, I’m still pretty heavy handed). The XL is very articulate, but brite too. The AJ seems to bring out a mid range honk that I like.

Ive also learned that there is a coating on the outside that will wear off after a couple of months taking the sparkley printing with it (it might be flashy but I’m easily entertained and it’s easier to find on the floor). The absence of the coating isn’t noticeable yet. There’s no sweating or jumping about in my practicing room. So I can’t comment on that part.

It’s my opinion now that a .70mm Tortex seems to fatigue due to repeated flexing or hand temp after about an hr of playing. The AJ Flow doesn’t seem to have that problem.

I got a few of the white (brigth) 0.88 Tusq picks in a sample pack a couple of months ago, just got around to trying them out a few nights ago, I'm impressed, they feel really good to me (I know that's a personal thing) and they have a lot of attack. Might have to invest in a sample pack to try the other "tones" of those.

As far as picks go. Way back, didnt care.. Then started got hooked on Dunlop Tortex Orange .60. used those for years. (Bought dozens. used few) Then, I discovered Dunlop Red Jazz IIIs. Then, switched to the red Jazz III Eric Johnsons. (bought dozens,used few) Now, I use the Black Jazz III carbon fibers. I like how they perform and the grip surface.

I do have a few Gravity Picks and V Picks. I try real hard to like them, but I just cant fully commit to them

Ok, looking at some different sites based on brands being mentioned as I havent even heard of some of these. just checked out Dragons heart.

I find it interesting that nearly every pick maker claims that their pick is absolutely the best pick made.. Somebody must be telling fibs... haha

I have some Dragons heart picks. They are a bit awkward feeling. With use they do get more comfortable but they aren’t something I would use regularly.

The more I use the Gravity Pick the more I like it. But a $5 a pick I can’t see these being my regular go to.
I still love the Clayton Acetyal. Those are my #1. Perfect thickness for me (1.5mm) and the material glides smoothly across the string yet still stays grippy enough so that it doesn’t slip out of my fingers.
