I've been thinking of paper strips or perhaps some light chains to enhance and complexify the membranity of the output.

What are some of your favorite stuff to hang on your amps?

Rattling nearby cymbals has been great to me, but i have no cymbals.

I do my best to keep my speaker cabinets from rattling at all, so no help here. I prefer my amps to rattle any loose material within a 100' radius.

Fillings. You have to go out to the parking lot after closing time to collect them.

I'm associating the avatar and the moniker with the post/question, or vice versa, and chalking it up to ...

something.

I tend to use 10s of thousands of ball bearings, on a hardwood floor. The combo of the steel and the hardwood (don't use MDF) is to die for.

Easy- wrap your cab in tinfoil and drape a couple dozen strands of Mardi Gras beads over the front. Better yet, use rosary beads: like Tibetan prayer wheels, when they dance it'll be like hundreds of prayers are said every time you play a note.

Interesting suggestion! Although quite expensive.

I'm in Canada, freedom of religion is taken very seriously up here, it's all good.

Glad to hear. I understand it's a good country for weed too. I wonder if weed rattles good.

As i tried my amp (Laney AOR 30w combo) prior to purchase, there was a hi-hat in the same room that rattled sweet during certain notes.

Yah, snares are great for that- maybe put a couple snare drums by your amp. And a couple of tambourines on top. That'd give good rattle.

Re: Great rattling stuff to hang on the amp

I have a Cajon setting next to my amp
The share springs irritate me greatly
Hanging acoustics drone sympathetically with everything
