Grounding problem with P-Rail / Triple shot set up

hey folks.

So I bought a set of p-rails and after trying to wire them without the triple shots, I got a headache and bought the triple shot rings. Simple and easy right? Well I suppose not.

I got them wired up but now there's a lot of ground noise which gets worse when I touch anything metal on the guitar. I have dealt with grounding issues that went away when I touched metal but never anything that got worse when I touched metal.

The diagram I am working with isn't exact since I am working with the wiring diagram for 2 P-RAILS, 2 triple shots, 1 volume, 1 tone and a 3 way toggle but I am working with a 3 way blade. Not sure if that would cause a grounding issue.

I have a multi meter but I am not overly sure how to use it.

Little help please?

ill be the first to say it..Is the bridge grounded..

let me draw something up to see if that helps.. going to need a bit though.. i dont like telling people how to do things.. easier to just draw a pic and show them

Sure is. But I think this may be the fault of a faulty cable. Gonna do some trouble shooting in the am.

could be a cold solder joint as well.. or something is wired up backwards.. PICS might help us help you troubleshoot.. Best to take several closeups from different angles and have them as clear as possible.

well I needed another drawing to add to my collection.. LOL would of had it done sooner but i had no tripleshot components in my library, so i had to draw up one .. albeit roughly

sorry no color.. that will take awhile longer

Wowwww that's so much different than what I assumed... I will try it!

ahh.. well.. lots of different ways to wire something.. as long as it does what you want, then its the right way.. Now some ways are more of an "standard " i guess

Ive wired up a 3 way like the way in that pic before, but the other way i showed is still a proper way as well

I might add some color to the drawing and clean up my tripleshot component.. In the program that I make my drawing is,you must draw your own library components and this one was just a real fast draw. I need to go back and take my time to get it perfect

curious.. i looked at the pics you posted and compared it to mine. IMO.. there is not alot of difference in the two, but there are some.. As I said.. More than one solution when wiring up a guitar
