Guidance needed

Re: Guidance needed

currently you have two stacks and a humbucker. if you switched to three single coils (for example) you wouldnt be able to use the split humbucker function but you could re-wire the s1 to get some other option

Re: Guidance needed

do you know how to solder? if so, id suggest start with just swapping the neck pup to an ssl1 or ssl2 (same pup with staggered or flat pole pieces) and see how you like that. they can be found cheaply used and if you can solder, its a quick thing to put it in. if that sounds like what you want then we can go from there. if that doesnt get you what you want, you can move it to the middle and we can figure out a better neck pup. if you dont solder then it probably isnt cost effective to do one pup at a time.

I swapped my neck pickup with SSL-1 and I am satisfied with the result. What do I have to do next?

Re: Guidance needed

get another one for the middle. you can get another neck model or you can get a rw/rp for the middle to cancel hum when they are on together. do you want to keep the humbucker in the bridge or are you thinking of going to a single coil? for the single coil, the ssl5 is a fine match. more output and a darker, fatter tone than the ssl1 which most people like in the bridge position. still sounds like a single coil strat pup but isnt wimpy like some vintage bridge pups can be. if you want to stick with a humbucker, the 59/custom hybrid might be a good choice. moderate output, works well with single coils and has versatile splitting options you can access with the s1 switch

I am planning on keeping the mid pup as it is. Will that be okay to do so?. Yes I want a humbucker in the bridge, I just have one question regarding that, will it help me get closer to that Jimmy Page tone I am after?
