But you dont HAVE to repair them because the PW cables also have a Lifetime Warranty like the Monsters do!

And for the record, you don't need the original packaging to be able to use the warranty, either. Once the store gets the bad cable back they send it back to PAW or Monster or whatever.

I worked for GC for a few years myself (OPS), and while GC does keep receipts on file at the store level for two years, and will reprint them for you, it would be good idea to keep the originals. Our store policy was that we had to see a receipt (my OPS manager was a b*tch!). It could be reprinted at the store if it was within two years, the corporate office holds receipts for two years after that if I remember correctly.

Yeah thats all correct about the 2-year thing. Having receipts makes it way easier but since it's a lifetime warranty all the managers at my store pretty much automatically OK'd all non-receipt returns on PW and Monster cables. I think the only person who had a problem with it was the Warehouse Manager, who had to box the damn things up and send them back.
