It seems like everytime I go now I come home with something. The funny thing is is that I am all about buying used gear, but it seems that lately I am getting absurd deals on stuff. Last night I was looking at a Tele exactly like this at one Guitar Center that was beat to death. It looked like it had been on tour for 20 years. I offer them a crazy low amount and they lauged in my face and to make a long story short, they offended me with rudeness. Well I stop into another GC today and the dude there saw me playing this one and said that if I was interested he would cut me a killer deal. He comes back with a price that was $25 more than I low balled for the beater. I couldn't beleive it. This one is perfect. I have a few changes that I plan on making to this one tonight. I just couldn't pass it up for the $$$.

That's awesome man, nice score. I was playing a KILLER McSoapy in my local GC the other day and wanted to pick it up, but I've bought 2 guitars in the past 2 weeks as it is.

Nice looking guitar. Isn't that the one that already has Duncans in it?

When I tried a few of those Light Ash Teles, the only thing I thought was that it could use a better setup, and maybe a little bit of fret dressing on the edges, and it would be perfect. But for the price/performance, it's a no brainer.

It does have a Duncan in the bridge. I'm not sure what it has in the neck. The frets are good on this one, but it could use some slight ajusting. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve that I am gonna make happen on this guitar tonight!!

the neck is a Duncan too, those have Alnico II Pro single coils.

I love the looks of those with the natural ash body, birdseye mable necks, and abalone inlays. I've wanted one just on looks alone...lol. I've never even played one before. I've read on here that they are a hit and miss guitar, but if you find one of the good ones then it's a beautiful thing. Congrats man!!

Is that a Lite Ash Tele? It looks a lot like my CIJ '52, except the exotic neck. Very nice axe. :bigok:
