What do you guys think the best method is to glue it? The crack isn't big enough to get glue between.

Ok, i figured it out. I'm going to drill holes in the crack and then fill those with glue. I am thinking of using epoxy. which glue should i use?

Titebond or Elmers Wood Glue

Just wood glue man

If you stress the crack open

Then use a syringe to force it deep inside

Un stress it, clamp it, done

I couldn't get the gap big enough to get the wood glue through so I drilled some small holes with the smallest bit I have. Then I put a small straw on the end of the pot of glue and put the glue in. then I clamped it.... I put on too much pressure and the otherside cracked:cussing::banghead:

I learned in my first and previous project that if these things happen, you just need to to lay it down somewhere, leave the glue to cure and proceed tomorrow. If you don't you will make it much more worse.

I learned in my first and previous project that if these things happen, you just need to to lay it down somewhere, leave the glue to cure and proceed tomorrow. If you don't you will make it much more worse.

Maybe you have to reglue both sides on the next try. I would use two pieces of wood between the guitar and the clamp so the clamp will put preasure more evenly on a larger area. That way you won't leave clamp mark on the underside of the body. Something like in this picture without the neck

I drilled holes again and filled them with glue. Let it dry 24 hours and then sanded the glue so the pickguard sits flush on the body.
