well i have a Jackson RR and i dont want to pay $119.00 for a molded case right now so i use a Hercules wall hanger and it works great i've never had a problem with my guitars after hanging them on it

In 15 years of recommending them to customers and using them myself, I have never seen or heard of a single verifiable case where the wall hanger caused damage to the instrument, except for the aforementioned "rubbing off" on some hangers with some instruments finishes, mostly nitro.

This is the primary reason that most music stores use them as well, quick accessibility with safe storage.
