Guitar Pedal Expo in Los Angeles

Well it looks like Loni Specter's LA and NY Amp and Guitar Shows have done well enough that now he's added an LA Guitar Pedal Expo.

I can't wait for this.....coming Sunday April 7th. If anyone plans to go, let me know. I just heard about it.
I'm wearing my 2005 Amp Show T Shirt today, and it reminded me to check the site.

At least it's $10, not the usual $20 they charge for the Amp Show. And honestly, the door charge usually pays for itself since it's pretty common to walk away with a few freebies like T Shirts, patch cables, pre tubes, stickers, and picks. Even better if you're lucky enough to win a door prize.

The Amp Show is significantly smaller here than in LA, so perhaps they will be combined? That would be super awesome, though! I don't know about the LA show, but there is usually a pedal seminar/panel discussion at every Amp Show here ...

Yeah, the LA Amp Show always featured a few boutique guitar companies, pedals, and other accessories. I'm surprised Loni Specter thought a pedal expo would attract enough people.
But, pedals are a big thing nowadays, so we'll see how the turnout is.

I think these shows are pretty easy to pull off. All they need to do is get the hotel to block off a section of the building, then the vendors rent rooms and pay a fee.

I'll be there. Been planning on it since I heard about it about a month ago. Meant to go to the amp show, but got busy... I know what Itsabass looks like, but I am not sure how to spot a Gearjoneser...
