Dude, how's that Carvin kit guitar? I've had my eye on those for years. Is it a regular Strat-sized body? Or is it a little trimmed and slimmed from a regular Strat? It looks a little trim in your picture (which is good IMHO), but other pics I've seen look standard Strat-sized.

The body seems to be the same thickness as a normal strat. The horns are a tad less beefy allowing better fret acess,

Carvin does excellent fretwork and wood selection. For being alder this guitar sings and sustains better than my LP.
