Guitar vibration??

I have a Japanese Squier strat that is amazing. I got it for dirt cheap and it plays great, sounds fantasic and vibrates like crazy when I sustain a note. Its like its alive!! I presume this is resonance and a favorable trait? It has the boldest unplugged tone Ive ever heard from an electric and even has a system 1 floating trem.
I am really in awe over this axe. Anyhow, I didnt post this to oogle my axe but to ask if this vibration is favorable? I would say vibration is bad if it absorbs the string vibration and deadens the sound, but this thing is alive..
Thoughts??

vibration is how an instrument makes a sound, like the sound when you play unplugged is the wood vibrating from the plucked string, like the tension from the string vibrates the note, or something like that. That's why neck-thru construction is often favored to bolt-on to people who are after sustain and resonance and all that.

I dunno, there are probably a few guys on here who will make more sense than me.

Bolt ons that are made good have a more lively sound, more snappy and twangy, the chords rings and the notes interact in a different way than a neckthrough, anyways there are no rules, if the guitar sounds great...well it sounds great, no matter what type!
It is actually quite good that your guitar vibrates alot, it does play loudly and the tones ring out nicely right??
The string and body interact....it is the opposite of deadning the vibration that is going on.
Consider yourself lucky to have a resonant guitar

Sounds like you've got a resonant guitar there, mate! IMO thats a good thing.

If it sounds good, it IS good.
