Fender's Lite Ash Tele and Strat came with the Alnico II Pro's, Their Lone Star (do they still make it?) came with the Pearly Gates + at the bridge, and I beleive that their Showmasters and set neck Tele's come with a 59/JB set.
PRS' Mc Soapy's come with Duncan P-90's.
If I recall correctly, Gibson had a Lester out a while ago with a transparent red finish and a mahogany top that was loaded with Duncan Distortions.

Our OEM page is, sadly, very much in need of an update. But it's still a good place to start.
Maybe next Summer I'll be able to find an intern in to help me update it. Any takers?
There is no restriction on country of origin of the guitar. The fact is, there's awesome stuff coming out of Japan, Korea and China nowadays. IMO, we'd be foolish to forbid our pickups from going on those instruments just because they're built overseas.
That said, we do have a strong preference that our pickups only be installed on guitars with a USA MSRP equal to or greater than $799. Now, go check the retail prices on those offshore-built guitars and you'll notice that they all list for eight-bills or higher.
It's all about preserving the Seymour Duncan brand position while, at the same time, giving customers what they want.
Our OEM page is, sadly, very much in need of an update. But it's still a good place to start.

One thing you all might not know about me, is that I -- along with Kellie -- handle all the OEM sales. All those guitar companies who install our pickups as original equipment are Kellie's and my customers.BowerR64 said:

Well, a lot of newer Fender models which are made in corea have duncans.
Like the SSL-5's, the 5-2's, with '59's and so on.
This might be a good idea to make them more interesting, i even checked some of the models, they LOOKED worth for their price, but their quality behind the look and the pickups was poor.
Your point is very understandable, because it is questionable if it is worth to sell guitars with this quality and then use better pickups, which gave the manufacturs a reason to sell them as "good guitars" which are worth this price.
On the other hand, a lot of us started with cheap guitars and anyway we upgraded them with better pickups, which also wasn't cheaper in the end.
Here in Germany i saw some of the models for around 450€, but they have been introduced for 800€.

Check out the Fender Lite Ash Tele. I own one and it's a really great guitar. I put a mini-humbucker in the neck and upgraded the bridge saddles, pots and switch. The thing plays great and sounds great (in fact, it's my backup guitar on the gig I'm playing tonight).
I love to leave the "Made in Korea" sticker on because it freaks people out who've played it.
