Yes, 2 people. In the blue corner Guthrie Govan and in the red corner a guitarist. The guitarist plays better than me for sure but you can see how much more musical Guthrie thinks/plays imho

Ben does have a better tone but Guhrie has a better tone in his fingas. It's great to see the difference.

Man, Guthrie is "music". The other guys plays what he knows, Guthrie just expresses. Big difference!

I can't watch the vid right now, because i have no sound at work.

But Guthrie is the "best" guitarist I know, hands down. When it comes to improvisation: his ability, creativity, fluidity, ideas - yes Guthrie. Even better than Joe Satriani and more musical than Steve Vai. (Satriani and Vai probably come up with a lot better musical ideas, and wrote more songs). But Guthrie is just so exceptional in the way he plays the guitar, and expresses himself. The guitar really ceases to exist. It's just Guthrie and a stream of notes from his soul going to your ears.

Guthrie's "Erotic Cakes" sounds really cool - very out though. You have to be in-tune to it to enjoy it. I bought it online and loved it.

Guthrie is a really amazing player in all senses... but I think he overplayed that track a bit.
