I dont know if my guitars are moody/tempramental or what.. (I have 4 daughters, and 24 yrs of marriage, so I know a thing or two about moody...) Anyhow, sometimes Ill pick up one of my guitars and it'll be like, Ok, this is nice... And sometimes, it'll be like wow!
Ive been mostly playing my charvels which I love and for Les Paul, Ive been playing my "2008" model, trying to see if we can bond as tho who have read my posts, know this guitar has been kinda a strange bird.
Anyhow, to cut to the chase. When I played my wine red Trad Pro at guitar center, it had me hooked. Never big on red guitars (ironically, now two of my fav players happen to be red), this guitar just had that special vibe that I couldnt stop thinking about and when I went back a week or so later, I had to have it even tho she had gotten some scuffs from test drives.
Last night I hooked her up after some time apart, and it was just like magic.. She felt and sounded so good and its like a creative flood gate just opened up. I can only describe it as OMG!! But I was getting so many great tones, it was just blowing me away..
Anyhow, thanks for reading, but it was just so amazing I wanted to share. Im really busy today, but about crawling out of my skin with excitement to play again. Its been awhile that Ive been this revved up..
